Color analysis (or seasonal analysis) is the process of determining the best colors for an individual based on skin, hair, and eye color.  Using a series of drapes, I can determine which seasonal palette (spring, summer, autumn, or winter) most flatters a person’s features. I offer a complimentary blush & lipstick application with both analysis services.

Great question! The Four Seasons analysis helps you discover which colors—based on spring, summer, autumn, and winter—work best with your skin, hair, and eyes. The Color Alliance analysis takes it further by identifying your color value (light or dark features), your “middle name” (a unique descriptor of your features), and your best season. I use drapes in both analyses, but Color Alliance also includes color coordinates—like paint swatches—to find the most harmonious blend for you. You’ll walk away with a unique color name, a fresh perspective, and the option to purchase a custom palette of your best shades (aka Lifestyle Palette), from brights to neutrals to metals and everything in between.

The short answer - yes. Color analysis and understanding your seasonal palette is beneficial for anyone and everyone. Wearing your best palette will give you a natural, healthy glow, and people will notice. Shopping can be hard, and having this information will significantly narrow your choices, in the best way. Eventually, it will become instinctual, and you’ll gravitate towards the colors you know will work for you. Ultimately, you’ll be able to find your best hair tones, makeup shades, clothing colors, jewelry metals and colors and accessories. You WILL see yourself differently.

To get the most accurate results, please wear a plain white t-shirt to your appointment. If you don’t have one, no worries — I have white capes available, but t-shirts generally give us the best outcome. Additionally, please ensure your hair is freshly washed and completely dry upon arrival. If you usually wear makeup, I kindly ask that you come in with as little as possible and have clean, moisturized skin. Even slightly moderate oils can impact how your hair color truly appears, and anything beyond minimal concealer, mascara, clear lip balm, and clear brow gel could interfere with our assessment.

A face shape analysis is used to find the geometric shape of the face. This can also be referred to as your “inside line” when it comes to details and styling in clothing. Why is this important? Have you ever loved a haircut on someone else but not on yourself? What about the stress of finding the right eyeglasses or sunglasses? This is all thanks to face shape. I look for an angled or curved shape, where your widest point is, and the length of your face. These measurements help determine your most flattering haircuts, glasses shapes, necklines, accessories, jewelry, patterns, etc. The goal is to maximize visual harmony and cohesiveness.

Signia Image & Body Type analysis is the process of determining what is known as your “outside line” for styling clothing to suit your body. Your image analysis will include a face shape analysis. I take body measurements to determine your overall body shape. We then address any challenges you may experience with styling your clothing and what to look for in when shopping to help address those challenges. A makeup overhaul is a personalized service where you bring in the makeup you already own, and together, we go through it piece by piece. Maybe you’ve got five different eyeshadow palettes, but you’re not sure why you reach for some shades and avoid others. We’ll figure that out—what works, what doesn’t, and why certain colors flatter you more than others. It’s not just about eyeshadow—this applies to all of your makeup. The goal is to help you make the most of what you already own and feel more confident using it.

I do require ALL clients (hair or analysis services) to sign and return two policies. This covers both my service agreement and my cancellation policy forms. I also require a consultation form to be completed. This shares the necessary information needed to prepare for your appointment. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out!

I typically give the same guidance for these services as I do for hair appointments — I ask that you come solo if possible. That said, I understand a friend or family member may be curious about the process, especially if they’re interested in booking. If you feel their presence won’t distract from your experience, that’s your choice. I do kindly ask that children stay home.
